I'm paraphrasing the movie Clueless in my title. Allow me to explain. Last week I went to get my driver's license and plates for new state. Unbeknownst to me, in new state you have to retake the written (now computerized) exam. Uhhh!!! I didn't study, but thought, okay...so I took it. Uh, yeah...I scored a 74. Essentially failing by 1 lousy point! SERIOUSLY?!!
I was so humilated and embarrased. From talking with my colleagues at work, I know I am not the only transplant that this has happened to, but still. So I am going back tomorrow to retake it. If I fail again, I have to pay $10 to take the test again - AND they make you wait 3 days to take the test again.
